Refund policy
At HOMIE, we care about customer satisfaction and are committed to offering high-quality products. We fully comply with the provisions of the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 regarding customers’ rights to return and exchange products.
1. Return & Exchange Within 14 Days
Customers have the right to return or exchange a product within 14 days from the date of receipt in the following cases:
- If the product has a manufacturing defect or does not match the specifications displayed on our website.
- If the delivered product is different from what was ordered.
2. Conditions for Return or Exchange
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
- The product must be in its original condition, unused, uninstalled, and undamaged.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging along with all accessories, if any.
- Proof of purchase must be provided (order number or purchase invoice).
- Custom-made products based on the customer’s request cannot be returned or exchanged, unless they have a manufacturing defect.
3. If the Product Has a Defect or Is Damaged
If a product is received with a visible defect or damage, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the order and send photos clearly showing the issue.
After reviewing the case, we will compensate the customer by either:
- Replacing the product with the same item or an agreed-upon alternative, or
- Refunding the paid amount within 14 business days.
4. Return & Exchange Fees
- If the return or exchange is due to an error on our part (e.g., manufacturing defect or wrong item), we will bear all shipping costs.
- If the return is due to the customer’s personal preference and not a product error, the customer is responsible for round-trip shipping fees.
